The first week of junior year was pretty boring and stressful. First off I am pretty excited that the first week is finally done. The only thing I did in most of my classes was go over the same syllabus we went over at the end of last year. You would think that I would like that I didn’t have any work, but I would rather just get started in what we are learning. Syllabus’ might be the most boring thing I have ever done in school and that is saying something. Most of it is common sense and it always takes so long, plus almost every teacher’s syllabus is the same. They all have the same concept they just might have a slightly different approach at teaching or how they grade. Part of the stress is because I am taking a lot of difficult classes this year and throughout the summer I was trying to forget about all the responsibility I was going to have once school started. Now that school is finally here I am trying not to get too overwhelmed. I think the main cause of the stress is the fact that junior year is the most important year. I have done so well in school so far, and I don’t want it to be for nothing. One of the positives is that I do like my classes even though they are challenging. I also like how I have some of my friends in all my classes. I’m most excited for anatomy and physiology and organic chemistry. Even though these are going to be my most difficult classes, I find them the most interesting. I am also excited for Calculus with K. He tells us so many interesting and funny stories about fishing. He makes Calculus more fun and not so boring. The one thing that makes the first week of school the best is soccer. Finally being able to start soccer and your normal routine of school, practice and then mixing in games makes the fall go by so much faster. I think this year is going to be good and I am really excited about Mr. Moser being back. Overall the first week of school was pretty good, but I am so glad that it is over.
