R.I.P Summer

My first week of school wasn’t as exciting as my first week in past years. I think since I’ve been here a while the excitement has gone down and I just want to get out as soon as possible. Tuesday was a sad day because having to get up at 6 am while all summer I’ve been sleeping til noon not doing anything. This caused some problems, but the 2 hour delay schedule made everything seem longer than it was. As soon as I got to school I went to the guidance office to change my schedule but now that I’ve went through it a couple times I’ve seemed to like my classes. Wednesday and Thursday went by pretty fast. Thursday we finally got into actually learning and assigning homework. I didn’t think I would already have so much stuff to do but what else would I expect, It’s school. Since it is now Friday, there is a lot of hype for the football game. Football Friday’s are lit. Even though we’re playing Southern it is still exciting to cheer on the track, be with my teammates, and show some spirit. For this school year I except it to be more challenging than the past years. I’ve heard a lot of people saying “junior year is the hardest year of high school.” and I totally believe that. My schedule is all over the place so I see a lot of stressing out coming in the near future (Will definitely be writing about it.) But for now I’m just seeing how things go. Other than some chaos I am enjoying my day around the school. Psychology and Publications will be my favorite periods of the day. I can already tell they will be the most interesting. Chemistry and Geometry will probably be the worst 42 minutes of my life each day because I can already see me zoning out and not paying attention. I hope over the weekend I can get all my work done and not have to procrastinate as much as I did last year. Breaking bad habits is a goal of mine this year. I guess we’ll see as the year goes on. The picture I included is of Kim Kardashian crying because It sums up my week.
