In the three poems all have the same types of themes, in the the “Disillusionment of 10 o’clock” a major theme of creating your own reality though your imagination, “Anyone Lived in a Pretty How Town” is about death is inevitable, “The Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock” talking about the passage of time throughout life. In the “Disillusionment of 10 o’clock” the theme is developed during the last three lines of the poem, when it references the drunk. This shows how out all of the crazy things that are happening that the version of reality that is the most legitimate is the one that is more world. “Anyone Lived in a Pretty How Town” is talking about two characters and their relationship is basically doomed because death will inevitably claim them. The Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock” talking about the passage of time throughout life, and loving life. They are all connected because they all relate to life in someway. The one that i believe to be most relevant and i like the most to today is the” Disillusionment of 10 o’clock”. I think as a society that we need to learn how to learn how to change our reality to make things better. Things like Civil rights and gun control are both very important issues today, but the was individual people view it can affect the future of everyone’s reality. If as a nation and a society we could all just view thing from a worldly place we could possibly progress as a nation.
